July 31, 2013 Hyde Park and Sydney Tower

Hyde Park

Street performance

Archibald Fountain

Sydney Tower

Waiting to see the 4D movie about Sydney

-----------------------------------------------------

Sydney Tower, here we are!

Today, we went to Sydney Tower, the tallest free-standing structure in Australia. The view there is similar to HK, but it is still amazing for some people. We would like to join the SKY WALK at the beginning, however it was too expensive, so was the souvenir shop,

After the Sydney Tower, we went shopping in Broadway Shopping Centre, there were many shops which sold goods in a good deal, especially the K-mart. We bought a lot in there, a warm jumper costs AUD 8 and a pair of sneakers is just AUD5. They are really cheap, so I recommend you to go there to go there for some crazy shopping.

July 30, 2013 Taronga Zoo

Too rush! We eat our lunch on ferry

Cable car ride to the top of the hill

Briefing before we explore the zoo

Chimpanzees!! Can you find your brothers and sisters?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today we went to the Taronga Zoo. We felt amazed and excited. We can know more about animals. We saw many lovely animals such as Kangaroo , Emu , Peacock , Echidna , lions , Platypus and elephany. But when we looked at those animals , some animals were sleeping. At this moment , we felt upset because we can’t saw them move.We like Giraffe the most because they have long neck and they are so tall . Next, our whole class went to see The Ocean Theatre . We were impressed about the sea lions did the well post and clapped their big hands . This show was very funny. The sea lions were clever that they can understand what the trainer ordered them. They claped their hands , said goodbye to us , or even took something for the trainer. I think they have been well trained. Thank you for the trainer and the sea lions. What a good show!

July 29, 2013 Bondi Beach

---------------------------------------------------------------

Bondi Beach, where we have been today, is a famous beach in Sydney. I think it looks like a picture, which is, drew by a famous artist, it is absolutely wonderful and amazing. We are like in wonderland. I really want to swim there because the sea and the sand were very clean and comfortable; it was totally different from Hong Kong. Although we both didn’t bring our swimsuit or something like clothes, we took off our shoes and shocks, pleated our trousers, and ran to the sea. The water there was very clear, we could even see our feet under the water. We took photos crazily, our friend, Janet, made her trousers totally wet by herself and she said,” Let’s get wet!” She is really crazy! Maybe I am the survivor, haha…

July 28, 2013 Sunday!

Every student had their own activities with their host family.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Today is Sunday and it is a sunny day. We don't need to go to school, so we can have a good day with host family, which is actually our principal =3D]

In the afternoon, Adams took us to the shopping mall which is near to our home. Actually it is quite small and the things are quite expensive. Finally, host mum bought some fruits, and then we went home.

After that, host dad drove us to La Perouse to saw the beautiful views. When we walked around La Perouse, host dad told us that this is the most important place of Australia and told us some history about there. Finally, we took a lot of photos in there and saw the sunset before we were back.

We take this train back to the starting point.
---------------------------------------------------

It was a very beautiful and sunny day today. But we three guys, Torres, Nick and James were nearly late…It was because the train we usually got on weren’t in service this morning.

Luckily we weren’t late finally. And we caught a bus and took for 45 minutes to Featherdale Wildlife Park. It was a very nice place. We saw a lot of animals there, such as Kangaroos, Tasmania Devils, Koala and crocodiles. We touched Kangaroos and fed Kangaroos first time. Kangaroo’s faces were funny when kangaroos ate the food that we gave. They were very cute!!!

And we also saw bats here, too. Leaving Featherdale Wildlife Park, we continued our long bus trip. It was very boring. Hence, we slept a lot on the bus. One and a half hour passed, finally we arrived the Echo Point. There was a very nice view to see the sea and mountains. We took a lot of photos there. Then we moved to a garden to have a nice lunch, including hotdogs and kangaroo steaks… Yes, kangaroo steaks! We fed kangaroos two hours ago, and we ate them after two hours. I thought I’m quite cruel, although I didn’t think the steaks were delicious.

After lunch, we caught the bus again and exited in a famous tourist attraction at Australia, Three Sisters. There was a long about the history of Three Sisters. After that, we took a long walk down the Blue Mountain. The paths in the mountain were very hard to walk. I fell once. Luckily it didn’t hurt. We caught a train to go up the mountain at the end. A little bit scary, isn’t it? Finally we got back home by bus again. So tired… Oh, some boys like Vincent and Bobby made many Japanese friends today. The Japanese are mostly girls. I bet Vincent has got some girls’ mobile phone and Facebook already!
